CAPITAL ATHLETIC CONFERENCE LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE POWERED BY PRESTOSPORTS
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Capital Athletic Conference, an NCAA Division III conference with schools in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington D.C., has launched a new web site powered by PrestoSports. Conference administrators have partnered with PrestoSports to create an Internet presence that combines imaginative web solutions with hassle-free methods for highlighting the conference's student-athletes and institutions.
The Capital Athletic Conference site can be accessed at www.cacsports.com. Current site features include daily headlines, integrated schedules and standings, a dynamic news section, administration links, profiles of member institutions and more exciting information.
"We're thrilled to launch another conference site, especially a local conference," PrestoSports Director of Sales and Marketing Chris Gonzales said. "The CAC's new design and functionality will reflect the excitement surrounding the league, as it continues to grow and expand."
The Capital Athletic Conference features competition in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, women's softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, and women's volleyball.
Members for the 2006-07 academic year include: The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.; Gallaudet University, Washington, D.C.; Goucher College, Baltimore, Md.; Marymount University, Arlington, Va.; St. Mary's College of Maryland, St. Mary's City, Md.; Salisbury University, Salisbury, Md.; University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, Va.; and York College of Pennsylvania, York, Pa.
Set to join the league as full-time members starting with the 2007-08 academic year are: Hood College, Frederick, Md.; Villa Julie College, Stevenson and Owings Mills, Md.; and Wesley College of Dover, Del.
