Fresh off completing the first Northeast-10 Conference regular season and tournament championship double in program history, Franklin Pierce (45-9) is the six-team regional's top seed and host. The tournament takes place at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field from Thursday, May 17, through Sunday, May 20.

Joining Franklin Pierce, ranked 11th in this week's Collegiate Baseball magazine poll, in the six-team field is second-seeded Adelphi University (34-15, 21-6 ECC), regular season and tournament champions of the East Coast Conference, third-seeded University of Massachusetts Lowell (33-18, 25-5 NE-10), regular season runners up in the Northeast-10, fourth-seeded Caldwell College (24-13, 11-5 CACC), regular season champions in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), fifth-seeded Bryant University (32-22, 21-9 NE-10), runners up in the NE-10 Tournament, and sixth-seeded Wilmington College (29-18, 10-6 CACC), winners of the CACC Tournament.

The winner of the Northeast Regional will advance to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championships in Montgomery, Ala., May 25-June 1 at Riverwalk Stadium. The championship is hosted by Valdosta State University and the City of Montgomery.
