GOUCHER COLLEGE LAUNCHES NEW ATHLETICS WEB SITE WITH PRESTOSPORTS, ATHLETICS.GOUCHER.EDU
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Goucher College, an institution dedicated to the interdisciplinary traditions of the liberal arts and a broad international perspective on education, has launched a dynamic new athletics web site through PrestoSports at athletics.goucher.edu.
"We struggled for several years trying to make improvements to our web site and were never able to quite get everything right. Deciding to go with PrestoSports was the best decision we ever made with regard to our web site," said Goucher College Director of Athletics Geoffrey Miller said. "Now we are ready to unveil a new site that I'm certain will be welcomed by our coaches and student-athletes, family and friends of Goucher's intercollegiate athletics program, our opponents and most especially the young men and women we are recruiting to come to Goucher to be part of our athletics program."
Goucher, a member of NCAA Division III will be moving to the newly-formed Landmark Conference in June. Goucher fields teams in 17 sports. Gophers compete in equestrian, men's basketball, men's cross country, men's lacrosse, men's soccer, men's swimming, men's tennis, men's track and field, women's track and field, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's field hockey, women's lacrosse, women's soccer, women's swimming, women's tennis and women's volleyball.

In recent years, Goucher's Gophers have won conference championships in field hockey, women's lacrosse, and men's basketball, and student-athletes routinely earn prestigious awards for their combined athletic and academic achievements.
