NATION'S LARGEST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SOLUTIONS, ECAC.ORG TO RELAUNCH THIS SUMMER AS PART OF PRESTOSPORTS NETWORK

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference, the nation's largest and only multi-divisional conference, has partnered with PrestoSports to launch an administrative site to serve its membership. The ECAC, which features 320 NCAA Division I, II and III colleges and universities, will use the PrestoSports network to launch the new site this summer. ECAC.org will centralize league operations information for officials, coaches, member schools and league administrators.

A non-profit service organization, the ECAC sponsors 98 championships in 37 men's and women's sports. The league also assigns more than 6,000 officials in 15 sports, administers 10 affiliate sports organizations and six playing leagues and recognizes more than 4,000 student-athletes in 21 sports through the public relations arm of the ECAC.

The ECAC recently named veteran athletics administrator and coach Rudy Keeling as its seventh commissioner.

"As the ECAC begins a new chapter, we are happy and excited to be partnering with PrestoSports.  The state-of-the-art technology and customer support that PrestoSports provides will enable the ECAC to serve the membership in ways never done before.  ECAC.org will provide clear and concise information about championship participation, the annual convention, marketing endeavors and the many awards and honors that the ECAC administers throughout each year," said Commissioner Rudy Keeling, who began his tenure on May 1.

Established in 1938, ECAC member institutions range from Maine to North Carolina and westerly to Illinois. The ECAC serves as the primary conference for select members in the sports of men's and women's ice hockey, men's lacrosse, men's gymnastics, wrestling, fencing and rowing.

"We're pleased to be a part of this new era at the ECAC," Vice President of PrestoSports Patrick Summers said. "With two former ECAC administrators on our staff, we are confident we can meet the unique challenges that only this league presents. It's an ambitious organization that services thousands of student-athletes and we're happy they've chosen us to help meet their goals."
