NEW ENGLAND WOMEN'S AND MEN'S ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR CONFERENCE SOLUTIONS, NEWMAC SITE DESIGN UNDERWAY
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), an association of ten selective academic institutions competing at the NCAA Division III level, has partnered with PrestoSports to showcase its conference through a unique new web site. The NEWMAC marks the 18th conference to take advantage of the experienced PrestoSports network for complete conference web site solutions.
NEWMAC Executive Director Katie Hersey envisions the NEWMAC site as a showcase for the conference's student-athletes and a powerful administrative tool to streamline conference operations.

The NEWMAC sponsors championships in 18 sports - Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, Rowing, Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Track & Field and Volleyball.
Member institutions include: Babson College, Clark University, United States Coast Guard Academy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

The NEWMAC began play in the 1985-86 academic year as the New England Women's 6 Conference. Since 1998, the conference has sponsored conference play and championships for women's and men's athletics.
