MITCHELL COLLEGE JOINS PRESTOSPORTS NETWORK, COLLEGE PARTNERING FOR NEW ATHLETICS INTERNET HOME
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Mitchell College, a member of the newly-formed New England Athletic Conference and an NCAA Division III provisional member, has partnered with PrestoSports to advance its athletics programs with a new web solution. Members of the Mitchell College athletics staff and the PrestoSports team are embarking on the site design process, aiming for a launch before the start of the school year.
"Working with a company that so clearly understands the needs of a growing NCAA Division III athletics program has been a dream!" Associate Director of Athletics and Sports Information Director Stacy Kelly said. "PrestoSports will enable Mitchell Athletics to dramatically improve our ability to communicate with our student-athletes, families, alumni and prospective student-athletes."
Mitchell College will be finishing out the provisional process as an NCAA Division III institution the 2008-2009 academic year and will have full access to national championships in 2009-2010. Mitchell competes in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's golf, men's lacrosse, sailing, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's tennis and volleyball. The New England Athletic Conference will offer inter-league play and championships beginning with the 2008-09 academic year.
