ECAC launches new web site through PrestoSports, site switch took place on July 1
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Eastern
College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has partnered with PrestoSports
to relaunch the conference website, http://www.ecac.org/ on July 1,
2007.
The new site contains all pertinent administrative information
about ECAC championships, awards, officiating, marketing endeavors
and the annual convention. The site features a user-friendly
interface that will allow coaches, officials, conference and school
administrators at member institutions to easily navigate to find
the information they need.
"The new ECAC website will provide our membership with a service
that it has never received before," Keeling said. "The support of a
committed company like PrestoSports will help keep the ECAC on the
cutting edge of technology. Declaration forms, award nominations
and important information will be clear and easy to locate."
The new site comes at the start of a new era at the ECAC. On May
1st, Keeling began his tenure as Commissioner, making him the
seventh to assume the prestigious position in the nearly seventy
year history of the conference.
"We're pleased to be a part of this new era at the ECAC," Vice
President of PrestoSports Patrick Summers said. "With two former
ECAC administrators on our staff, we are confident we can meet the
unique challenges that only this league presents. It's an ambitious
organization that services thousands of student-athletes and we're
happy they've chosen us to help meet their goals."
Summers served as the Assistant Commissioner for Championships and
Technology at the ECAC from 1997-2003 after starting as an Asa S.
Bushnell Intern for the 1996-97 academic year. PrestoSports
Operations Specialist Robb Modica was a member of the 2000-01
