LEWIS & CLARK PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR ATHLETICS WEB SITE, PIONEERS TO JOIN GROWING PRESTOSPORTS NETWORK
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Lewis & Clark College, a national college with a global reach that competes at the NCAA Division III level in the Northwest Conference, has partnered with PrestoSports for an innovative new web site. Members of the Lewis & Clark Department of Physical Education & Athletics staff are beginning the site design process with members of the PrestoSports team. The new home of the Pioneers is slated for launch right before the beginning of the fall sports season.
"The web is the most-important tool that we have to keep students, fans, alums, and recruits informed about the latest happenings in Pioneer athletics," said Director of Athletics Clark Yeager. "We are excited about partnering with PrestoSports to take our website to the next level."
Lewis & Clark has been a leading contender in national small-college athletics for more than four decades. Men compete for the Pioneers in nine varsity sports: baseball, basketball, crew, cross country, football, golf, swimming, tennis, and track & field. Women at Lewis & Clark compete in ten varsity sports: basketball, crew, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. Conference and district championships as well as national recognition have built a strong winning tradition over the years on Palatine Hill.

The Pioneers compete in the Northwest Conference, one of the most competitive NCAA Division III alliances in the country. The conference features nine private colleges and universities in Oregon and Washington. The NWC's current Oregon-based membership includes Linfield, Lewis & Clark, Willamette, Pacific and George Fox. The members from the state of Washington are Puget Sound, Pacific Lutheran, Whitman and Whitworth.
