UNITED STATES COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS, USCAA WEB SITE REDESIGN UNDERWAY

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association, a national organization of small colleges which focuses on the student-athlete, has partnered with PrestoSports for innovative web solutions. The USCAA administration and members of the PrestoSports team have embarked on the process of creating the new web site which will serve as a central location for the association's news, statistics, awards, standings, polls and administrative information.

"The USCAA is very excited to be partnering with PrestoSports.  We are impressed with the work that they have done in the past, and see this as a great opportunity to improve the image of the USCAA, and give our members a product that is easily manageable and aesthetically pleasing.  We are confident that the new website will be something that our staff, member athletic directors, coaches, student-athletes, and fans will all be proud of," says USCAA Commissioner Bill Casto.

Established in June, 2001, the USCAA holds national championships, names All-Americans, Scholar-Athletes and promotes USCAA member schools. The USCAA was incorporated to provide an opportunity for smaller college members to compete on an equal level of competition with schools of like size and athletic programs.

"We're excited to help the USCAA serve its membership through a new web site," PrestoSports Vice President Patrick Summers said. "With our experience as the web site solution for over 20 conferences, we are confident we can meet the unique challenges for this association. It's an honorable organization that services thousands of student-athletes and we're happy they've chosen to become a part of our network to help meet their goals."

In the 2006-07 academic year, the USCAA crowned national champions in 10 different sports. The Apprentice School won the baseball and men's golf championships, Southern Virginia won the women's cross country and womens' soocer championships, Rhema won the men's basketball division 1, University of Cincinnati Clermont captured the men's basketball division 2 championship, Concordia-Selma won the women's basketball championship, Dine College won the men's cross country title, Rochester College was the men's soccer champion, Saint Mary of the Woods won the softball USCAA championship and Florida College was the national volleyball champion.

Athletics in a small college are unique experiences which prepare men and women for a life of meaningful work and service. The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) is a national organization that exists to provide quality athletic competition on a regional and national level for smaller institutions of higher learning and their student-athletes.  The USCAA attempts to offer the opportunity for the student-athlete to develop the mind, body, and spirit through athletic competition as they strive to promote integrity, leadership, scholarship, and values of life.  They believe in striving to place the pursuit of education as one of the main priorities of student-athletes.  The association also believes that the integrity and credibility of the USCAA, its members, and affiliates is paramount in accomplishing its mission.
