EAST COAST CONFERENCE PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR WEB SITE SOLUTION, ECCSPORTS.ORG READY FOR START OF ACADEMIC YEAR 

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The East Coast Conference, an NCAA Division II Conference formerly known as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC), has re-launched its website at www.eccsports.org as a part of the growing PrestoSports network. The new ECC site takes advantage of the PrestoSports content management system to feature conference administrative information, news, schedules, statistics, interactive polls, membership information and highlights the league's corporate sponsors. Soon, the site will also offer links to the conference streaming package at ECCSports.tv.

Members of the league include: Adelphi, Bridgeport, C.W. Post, Concordia, Dowling, Mercy, Molloy, New Haven, NYIT, Queens and St. Thomas Aquinas. The conference sponsors league play and championships in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track & field and volleyball.

The conference has captured 16 team national championships. Its mission is to promote the total person concept in its student-athletes which stresses the abilities to excel in academic achievement, athletic competition, and positive character traits.

An offspring of several single-sport college conferences which existed in the New York City Metropolitan Area in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's, the East Coast Conference (ECC) entered a new and exciting era on July 1, 2006, when it adopted a new name and branding, reflective of the growth the league has experienced since debuting as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference nearly 20 years ago.
