KEENE STATE TO FOLLOW BANNER SEASON WITH NEW WEB SITE, ATHLETICS PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR INNOVATIVE WEB SITE SOLUTION

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Keene State College, a member of the University System of New Hampshire and the Little East Conference, has partnered with PrestoSports for an innovative new athletics web site and live in-game statistics. The new home of the Owls will offer a new web site design and all the latest tools to spotlight student-athletes at one of the nation's top NCAA Division III athletics programs. 

"We are very excited to work with PrestoSports in the upgrade of our athletic web site," said  Keene State College Athletic Director John Ratliff.  "The site is an important tool for us to contact our target constituents, including perspective student-athletes, present athletes, parents, and Owl fans. We look forward to launching of the new site later this fall."

Keene State is coming off a banner academic year in athletics. The program finished 19th in the NACDA Cup Rankings, captured its seventh consecutive Little East Commissioner's Trophy and garnered spots in 11 NCAA tournaments. The Owls achieved in the classroom as well where 49% of KSC athletes posted a spring GPA of 3.0 or greater, 144 student-athletes were named All-Little East student athletes and the overall student-athlete GPA outdistanced the general student body.

"We're extremely pleased that our relationship with the Little East Conference continues to grow with the addition of Keene State to our network," PrestoSports Vice President Patrick Summers said. "Keene State College has truly made its mark on Division III athletics throughout New England and nationally. We're excited to share in the promotion of this wonderful institution through a new web site."

Of Keene State's 11 NCAA tournament appearances in 2006-07, eight were team sports (men's soccer, men's basketball, men's lacrosse, women's basketball, field hockey, softball and women's cross country) and three individuals (men's and women's indoor track and women's outdoor track) represented the college on the national stage. The athletics program won five Little East Conference tournaments, two Little East Conference regular season titles,three teams made ECAC New England appearances and the swimming & diving teams combined for 21 program records at the New England Division II/III championship. Eight athletes were named All-America, 32 were named all-New England or all-region. Five athletes were named LEC Players of the Year and two coaches were honored by their peers as the league's top coaches.

Keene State College is located in Keene, N.H. - an idyllic setting with a beautiful campus set in a small town in scenic southwestern part of the state. New Hampshire's public liberal arts college, Keene State prepares its students for professional life in any field, from management to medicine, from teaching to technology.

Members of the Keene State College athletics administration have begun the site design process with the PrestoSports team. The new site will integrate the news and information of KSC's current site with a new design and interactive features. It will also integrated into the PrestoSports network which will also include the Little East Conference and many of New England's top college conferences and institutions.
