PEACH BELT CONFERENCE LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE THROUGH PRESTOSPORTS, SITE HIGHLIGHTS NCAA DIVISION II CONFERENCE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Peach Belt Conference, an NCAA Division II conference headquartered in Augusta, Ga., has launched a new website powered by PrestoSports. Last week, the conference debuted its new look at www.peachbeltconference.org.
In addition to a fresh new design, the new Peach Belt Conference site features efficient integration of players of the week, conference scores, standings and news releases. PrestoSports has used its experience as the web site solutions provider for over 25 conferences, including 10 at the NCAA Division II level to provide the technology to meet the ever-changing needs of conference offices. In addition to its new web site, the Peach Belt Conference will use PrestoSports for its conference schedule management system, all-conference awards and email services.
"The Peach Belt Conference has always maintained a strong web presence and with information available to anyone, anywhere in the world it was important for us to stay on the cutting edge of web technology," said Peach Belt Conference Commissioner David Brunk. "This web site's navigation and user-friendly appeal includes all dimensions of the conference for Peach Belt fans, alums, student-athletes, coaches, administrators and the media. Our new website is all encompassing for those looking for sport or school-specific information."
Peach Belt Conference championships are contested in baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's golf, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis and volleyball. The conference boasts 24 NCAA National Championships.
"The new website showcases our student-athletes and offers full coverage of our 12 championships. It will also serve as a tremendous tool to reach current, former and future student-athletes," added Brunk. "PrestoSports has done an amazing job with this new website. Their innovations in design really show through with this site and they've been superb partners to have in this project."
The Peach Belt Conference is committed to providing through its dependent collegiate members, a forum for student participation in athletic, academic and co-curricular events under the auspices of NCAA Division II. Members of the Peach Belt Conference include: Armstrong Atlantic, Augusta State, Clayton State, Columbus State, Francis Marion, Georgia College and State University, Georgia Southwestern, Lander University, North Georgia, UNC Pembroke, USC Aiken.
