ECAC HOCKEY DEBUTS LIVE SCOREBOARD, OFFERS LIVE STATISTICS VIA CONFERENCE WEBSITE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - ECAC Hockey, one
of the nation’s oldest collegiate hockey conferences
featuring student-athletes from 12 of the nation’s most
prestigious institutions, will offer live score and statistics
updates through its web site for the first time this season. The
conference office has teamed with PrestoSports to offer this
innovative solution that continues to promote league men's and
women's action.
During each ECAC Hockey contest, the conference scoreboard on the
men's and women's pages will take live statistics from each league
venue, make the scores available with time and period and offer a
link to complete live in-game statistics. At the conclusion of each
game, this data will also immediately update the conference
standings.
"This feature should help our league fan base and the media follow our league action," ECAC Hockey Commissioner Steve Hagwell said.

people and institutions in ECAC Hockey,"

Member institutions include: Brown, Clarkson, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence, Union and Yale. Players
from the past and present include All-Americans, National Team
Members, Olympic gold medalists, and NHL greats.
PrestoSports and ECAC Hockey began a partnership at the 46th annual men's championship this winter. Through its exclusive Flash viewer, PrestoSports provided live in-game statistics for a worldwide Internet audience.
