THE LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE LAUNCHES EXCITING NEW WEBSITE THROUGH PRESTOSPORTS, LITTLEEAST.COM FEATURES COMPLETE D3SCOREBOARD INTEGRATION

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Little East Conference, an NCAA Division III conference featuring eight public colleges throughout New England, has launched an innovative new web site through PrestoSports. The new Little East Conference web site features a new interactive design and complete integration into D3Scoreboard through the PrestoSports network. As part of the PrestoSports network, the new conference site will populate with instant scores, standings and other updates the minute any D3Scoreboard client enters their scores into the D3Scoreboard system.

Beginning prior to the fall season, the Little East began its schedule and standings migration to the D3Scoreboard system. The system was integrated into the conference's old site as conference administrators and members of the PrestoSports staff made preparations for the new league website.

The instantaneous sharing of data for the conference site has allowed the conference office to streamline its effort and gives institutions immediate control over score reporting. Additionally, conference scores can be shared with other members of the PrestoSports network - which includes nearly a dozen New England-based conferences.

"We're excited to help meet the goals of the Little East Conference as it continues to highlight its institutions," PrestoSports Product Manager and D3Scoreboard founder Robb Modica said. "Not only is it a unique site with its own special design, but perhaps more importantly, the LEC membership will maximize efficiency from score networking throughout New England and immediately push its data to the nation's top Division III sport sites."

PrestoSports, the national leader in conference web sites, has launched or recently partnered with seven conferences in the New England region and over 30 conferences nationally. The ECAC, Northeast-10 Conference, ECAC Hockey, the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) the North Atlantic Conference and the New England Men's and Women's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) have launched web sites with PrestoSports while the newly formed New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) and the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) will launch sites with full networking capabilities in the future. The Little East Conference publicists will also enjoy full d3scoreboard integration throughout New England as The Commonwealth Coast Conference, Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) are D3Scoreboard clients. Through additional partnerships, scores and standings are transmitted immediately to some of the nation's top Division III media web sites including d3football, d3hoops, d3baseball and d3kicks.

The Little East Conference has put the student-athlete first since its founding on April 28, 1986. The conference includes Eastern Connecticut State, Keene State, Plymouth State, Rhode Island College, UMass Boston, UMass Dartmouth, Southern Maine and Western Connecticut State. League competition takes place in 19 sports. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, indoor track and outdoor track. Women's teams compete in basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, indoor track, outdoor track and volleyball.

As members who will be launching new web sites through PrestoSports, conference members Keene State and Plymouth State, institutions in the site design and data migration process with PrestoSports, will only have to update their scores in one location to update their own web site, the conference site and national d3sports sites.
