CONFERENCES FEATURE DIVISION II PROMOTIONAL VIDEO ON LEAGUE SITE, EAST COAST CONFERENCE AND PEACH BELT EMPHASIZE "I CHOSE DIVISION II" VIDEO
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The East Coast Conference and Peach Belt Conference are playing their part to promote the NCAA Division II mission with the recent integration of a video message from NCAA President Myles Brand. The ECC and Peach belt launched innovative new web sites with PrestoSports prior to the fall sports seasons.
Administrators at the ECC and Peach Belt converted the video file received from the NCAA into a format similar to those used at popular web sites such as YouTube and PrestoSports assisted in the integration of the video into the site. Each site offers the video to its viewers within the framework of its current site design meaning viewers do not need to open an additional window or download onto their computer for viewing.
The new Division II visual identity was created earlier this year to further reflect the characteristics of the division, which is centered on the "I Chose Division II" moniker and the six primary attributes of Division II - Learning, Service, Passion, Sportsmanship, Resourcefulness and Balance. A hexagon serves as the graphical theme and a quick visual representation of the relationship between all of these characteristics.
Loading video into the PrestoSports content management system can be as simple as uploading any other content. Among the additional PrestoSports clients utilizing video on their sites include Fairfield University, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Lewis & Clark College and Kean University.
