SALISBURY UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES NEW ATHLETICS WEB SITE WITH PRESTOSPORTS NETWORK AT SUSEAGULLS.COM, 11-TIME NATIONAL CHAMPION BECOMES FIFTH CAPITAL ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEMBER TO LAUNCH SITE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Salisbury University, an NCAA Division III member of the Capital Athletic Conference, has partnered with PrestoSports for a new web site solution. The home of the Sea Gulls has made its debut at www.suseagulls.com with a new design, more functionality, creative features and all the latest interactive tools - including complete integration into D3Scoreboard.
"This is an exciting time for Sea Gull Athletics as we launch our new Web site - SUSeaGulls.com. We now have a Web site that properly reflects the great successes our student-athletes achieve on and off the field," said SU Director of Sports Information Sam Atkinson. "Salisbury Sea Gulls have a long tradition of winning national and conference championships along with being champions in the classroom and the community. We used that same mentality when we set out to come up with a new design and look for SU Athletics. Thanks to PrestoSports and The Office of University Advancement we have been able to achieve that goal."
Salisbury University athletics has captured 11 NCAA Division III National Championships and numerous conference crowns. The field hockey team won the national title in 1986, 2003, 2004 and 2005. The Salisbury men's lacrosse team has won national championships in 1994, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007.
"We're thrilled to have Salisbury University as a part of our growing network of the region's top institutions," PrestoSports Vice President Patrick Summers said. Salisbury is the fifth member of the Capital Athletic Conference to partner with PrestoSports on a web site solution.
