Stonehillskyhawks.com Goes Pink, PrestoSports client Stonehill College uses web site to assist in raising breast cancer awareness
North Easton, Mass. - In honor of the upcoming "Think Pink" celebration that the Stonehill Department of Athletics is taking part in during the early part of February, www.stonehillskyhawks.com is changing its look.
"Think Pink" is a global effort sponsored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's to assist in raising breast cancer awareness.
The text portion of the website has changed its color from white to pink and will remain so until Monday, February 11.
Stonehill will hold its "Think Pink" event on Saturday, February 9 when both the men's and women's basketball teams take on Bentley. Free pizza for all students in attendance, several giveaways and pink t-shirts will all be a part of the College's event.
"Changing our website is just a small example of the level of commitment we have to the endeavors of our coaches and staff," said Director of Athletic Communications, Kevin Anderson. "‘Think Pink' is a worthwhile cause and we strongly support any initiative aimed at combating this disease."
