OLD DOMINION ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR SCOREBOARD INTERFACE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has partnered with PrestoSports for score and standings management through the PrestoSports Scoreboard Interface. The ODAC has integrated the PrestoSports system to provide immediate score and standings updates through the conference web site at www.odaconline.com and share information throughout a national network.
The ODAC joins a growing network of NCAA Division III institutions and media sites coordinating score reporting through PrestoSports. Scores, scheduled games and links are entered into the PrestoSports Network via the gameday screen (a simple schedule interface), and immediately processed throughout the network. Members of this national network see their scores and standings immediately updated at d3scoreboard.com, d3football.com, d3hoops.com, d3kicks.com and more.
Twenty-four NCAA Division III conferences will have their scores networked at www.d3scoreboard.com and on their conference web sites. Institutions that utilize PrestoSports for web site services also see immediate score, schedule and standings updates. Those using PrestoSports for live statistics create live score and time updates.
The ODAC partnered with PrestoSports to integrate the final weeks of the basketball seasons into its web site, since institutions had already entered its schedules and results into the mechanism powering the schedule and results for d3hoops. League administrators are transitioning to the system throughout the spring for men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis and baseball which will give the conference a major presence on d3baseball.com.
One of the nation's largest NCAA Division III conferences, the ODAC is made up of 13 institutions: Bridgewater, Eastern Mennonite, Emory & Henry, Guilford, Hampden-Sydney, Hollins, Lynchburg, Randolph College, Roanoke, Sweet Briar, Virginia Wesleyan and Washington & Lee are full members of the league. Catholic University is an associate member in football.
