PRESTOSPORTS RELEASES VERSION 3.2, SYSTEM-WIDE ENHANCEMENTS IMPACT RICH EDITOR, MOBILE CONFERENCE SCOREBOARDS AND MORE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - PrestoSports, a leading provider of web sites to college athletics, has released the latest upgrade to its content management system. Version 3.2 was introduced to the entire network last week. PrestoSports software upgrades are free of charge to the entire network of PrestoSports web site clients.
Client feedback has resulted in nine software releases this calendar year and 19 upgrades since Version 3.0 was introduced on September 4, 2007.
"We're always excited to push technology updates to clients throughout our system," says PrestoSports Product Manager Robb Modica. "As our network has developed, it is important to us that each of our clients receives constant enhancements throughout the year. With our experience in athletics, we recognize how important is to have these features available."
The most recent release impacts conference mobile scoreboards, enhance the article rich editor, meet additional requirements for Macintosh clients and continue enrichment to livestats network integration.

PrestoSports conference clients launched mobile scoreboards on March 7 and feedback has resulted in additional mobile features. The mobile scoreboards will now make scores from yesterday in addition to today's action.
The PrestoSports article rich editor allows clients to create web pages in seconds without any code. This update will offer clients the opportunity to:
- Spell check - shows misspelled words and offers possible fixes
- Image placement - enhancements allow complete control over placement of your image and text wrap around it
- Right-click to edit - use your mouse to select an item for effective editing
- Links open in new window - option now available to make links launch in a new window, assuring traffic remains on your site
- Anchors - offer viewers navigation to link within the page
- Macintosh support - upgrades have made more tools available
Because of the magnitude of these enhancements, PrestoSports has named this release Version 3.2. Version 3.1 has included a number of improvements to the system.
- Video conversion - automatically convert video file into web-friendly format and show preview of video in admin system
- Increased upload file limit - to meet needs of clients who wish to upload high-quality video and podcasts, more storage is now available
- Head-to-head schedule view - conferences can view a grid of members head-to-head
- CSV schedule upload - upload future schedules into the network direct from a CSV file (using Microsoft Excel, etc.)
- Find system - has been reorganized to help find what you're looking for
- Display name - offers web site clients ability to choose how opponent names appear on website
