PRESTOSPORTS PARTNERS WITH BECKER COLLEGE FOR NEW ATHLETICS WEB SITE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Becker College, an NCAA Division III institution joining the New England Collegiate Conference in the fall, has partnered with PrestoSports for a new athletics web site. Members of the PrestoSports staff have met with members of the Becker athletics staff to initiate the site development which will feature an innovative new design and complete integration into the PrestoSports network.
"We're pleased Becker College has chosen PrestoSports for its new web site solution," said PrestoSports Product Manager Robb Modica. "It's obvious to us that the Becker administration is committed to showcasing the school and its well-rounded student-athletes. It's exciting to have another NECC and Worcester-area college join our network."
By partnering with PrestoSports, Becker College will take advantage of the nation's largest network of NCAA Division III schedules and results. The new Becker site will populate instantly with scores and more through the PrestoSports network. Scores entered into the PrestoSports network will immediately update the Becker site and be shared with the NECC site, d3scoreboard.com, d3football.com, d3hoops.com, d3kicks.com, many New England conferences and institutions.

Becker's new web site will also benefit from a customized content management system built specifically for college athletics. Members of the athletics department will be able to update the new site with news, statistics, scores and more from any computer with Internet access. Recent upgrades available for PrestoSports clients include video integration and bookmarking for social networks such as MySpace and FaceBook.
Becker's new athletics site will coincide with the construction of a new lighted field turf stadium that began in April.
Becker's student-athletes play strong, competitive schedules, develop a tough work ethic and gain leadership experience both on and off the field of play. Becker teams incorporate the NCAA Division III philosophy, which stresses "that the student-athlete's athletic activities are conducted as an integral part of the student-athlete's educational experience." Becker offers the following 17 varsity NCAA Division III sports: cheerleading, field hockey, football, equestrian, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's ice hockey, baseball, softball, men's and women's lacrosse and men's golf.
