SALISBURY UNIVERSITY DIRECTOR OF SPORTS INFORMATION SAM ATKINSON TABBED WITH PRESTOSPORTS SIXTH MAN AWARD
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Salisbury University Director of Sports Information Sam Atkinson has been named a PrestoSports Sixth Man award winner.
PrestoSports created the award to recognize the client who makes a significant contribution to the product or company. As PrestoSports has grown over the past six years, many of its advancements have been as a direct result of client input. Atkinson is the second recipient of the award this year. WPI Assistant Director of Athletics Rusty Eggen garnered the honor after the winter season.

Atkinson has provided feedback on the integration of live statistics into the schedules and scoreboards both on the Salisbury site and throughout the PrestoSports Network. Since its launch, Salisbury's site has been networked for scores, schedules and game links to the network. In addition, Atkinson has served as a resource for the continued development of the newsletter service - monitoring recipient successes across several platforms.
PrestoSports expects to announce its next award winner prior to the start of the fall seasons. Clients who offer feedback for new features, troubleshoot potential concerns with new technology and otherwise add to the network will be considered for the award.
