SOUTHERN COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR NEW WEB SITE

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, an NCAA Division III conference with 12 institutions, has partnered with PrestoSports to develop a new web site. The new SCAC site will feature all of the latest PrestoSports tools designed specifically for conference offices including complete schedule and standings networking through the Scoreboard Interface, online awards and an efficient content management system.

"The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference is eager to partner with PrestoSports for a total redesign of our conference's website," said conference commissioner Dwayne Hanberry. "We were one of the first conferences to utilize the D3scoreboard, and by doing so, I had the good fortune of establishing a solid working relationship with its founder Robb Modica. So when we decided to overhaul the league's website, there was no question that we wanted to continue that relationship with Robb at PrestoSports."

By partnering with PrestoSports, the SCAC will continue to take advantage of the nation's largest score and schedule network. A geographically diverse conference with its 12 members scattered across nine states and three time zones, the SCAC has used the PrestoSports Scoreboard Interface to streamline score reporting as part of D3Scoreboard since the 2005-06 academic year.

The new site will incorporate this feature for immediate site updates into scoreboards, schedules, standings and the conference's new mobile scoreboard.

"We're excited to work with the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference on a redesign of its web site," PrestoSports Product Manager and D3Scoreboard founder Robb Modica says. "We've had the pleasure of working with the conference for D3Scoreboard and it's clear that the SCAC membership is committed to the student-athlete experience on and off the field of play. It's our goal to help match that excellence with a unique web site that maximizes efficiency for the conference office."

The new SCAC site will also take advantage of administrative tools for operating the conference awards. Weekly nominations, all-conference and other awards nomination, balloting and voting procedures will be available online through the PrestoSports custom awards system.
