NETWORK
New program will enhance web site experience; offer unparalleled
real-time stats at the college level
ROCKVILLE, Md. - PrestoSports has created a new real-time statistics network offering statistics reports that turn game, season and individual statistics into a real-time and interactive experience.
With this groundbreaking statistics platform, PrestoSports clients will offer statistics unlike any other at the collegiate level. Integrating directly into the existing PrestoSports Network of schedules and web sites, conference and institution web sites will have their statistics automatically updated. Real-time updates are also available through PrestoSports Live Stats.
"PrestoSports is taking the data people already have in Stat Crew and giving fans a thousand new ways to look at it within the design of their web site," says PrestoSports CEO Serge Knystautas. "Our clients want more from their statistics: we're excited to deliver this to the entire PrestoSports Network in the upcoming year."
The statistics platform will become a standard feature for PrestoSports web site clients after the pilot phase is complete. The conference platform has been rolled out to PrestoSports live scoreboard clients. Sample pages on the ECAC Hockey site (www.ecachockey.com) and updating live include leaders, box scores, individual pages, and team pages. PrestoSports will also integrate the basketball platform to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for men's and women's basketball.
PrestoSports new real-time statistics will be available on sites and highlighted in a number of ways. Additional enhancements include:
- Live statistics updates: This statistics platform will further enhance client web sites using PrestoSports for live statistics with instant, real-time web site updates.
- Thousands of new pages: Thousands of interactive pages will be linked and integrated within web sites for box scores, individuals, teams and more.
- Complete PrestoSports Network integration: This feature works in coordination with the schedules and scores in the PrestoSports Network. Conferences utilizing this feature may have scores, schedules, standings, and now statistics, updated immediately by members in the PrestoSports Network.
- Sortable pages: Individual and team statistics can be dynamically sorted by numerous categories and situational breakdowns.
- Leaders: Leaders will be featured for all statistics categories, game-by-game player statistics, and game-by-game team statistics. Individual pages offer rankings across numerous statistical categories on their team or in their conference. Different leader functions will be available for conference and institution sites.
- Box scores: Newly formatted box scores fit within the framework of the site and link directly with individual and team pages.
The PrestoSports Network brings athletics web site updating to an unmatched level of efficiency. The new statistics network is just one of many upgrades to the PrestoSports Network that have been made available this year. Other new features have included mobile updating, a membership update system, and mobile scoreboards. Where applicable, technology upgrades are immediately available throughout the network for all PrestoSports partners.
