HUSSON UNIVERSITY PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR NEW ATHLETICS WEB SITE, NEW HOME OF THE EAGLES LAUNCHES AT ATHLETICS.HUSSON.EDU
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Husson University, a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) located in Bangor, Maine, has partnered with PrestoSports for its new athletics web site. The new home of the Eagles, now online at http://athletics.husson.edu, features an innovative new design which highlights each of the Husson athletics programs.
"Husson University is pleased to have launched this dynamic web site as it represents the efforts, accomplishments and excitement surrounding our athletic program," says Husson University Athletic Director Cindy Connelley. "PrestoSports has been great to work with in this venture!"
By partnering with PrestoSports, Husson University's athletics site receives a unique new design, a content management system built for college athletics, and continuous technology upgrades. Athletics administrators update scores, and add stories, photos, statistics, video, and more, via custom PrestoSports tools. Some of the Husson site features include rotating stories on the main athletics page, composite schedule, contact info for prospective athletes and highlights of all Husson programs.
As part of the PrestoSports Network, scores and schedules entered into the Husson web site will update the North Atlantic Conference site, opponents' sites, and media sites throughout the network such as d3football, d3soccer, d3hoops and d3baseball.
"We're pleased to add Husson University to the PrestoSports network," says PrestoSports Vice President Patrick B. Summers. "Husson has achieved success on and off the field of play, so we're excited to assist in forming a new web presence."
PrestoSports also hosts the NAC site at www.nacathletics.com as well as the athletics site for conference member Green Mountain College.
More than 250 student-athletes participate in Husson's 13 varsity sports. Varsity sports include baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, field hockey, football, golf, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball, women's swimming and volleyball.
