LASELL COLLEGE PARTNERS WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR NEW ATHLETICS WEB PRESENCE
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Lasell College, an NCAA Division III member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference located in Newton, Mass., has partnered with PrestoSports to launch a new athletics web site. The Lasers are the fourth member of the GNAC to launch its new site with PrestoSports.
By partnering with PrestoSports, Lasell College's athletics site received a new design, access to PrestoSports' content management system built for college athletics and continuous technology upgrades. Athletics administrators are able to easily add scores, stories, video and more via custom PrestoSports tools.
"We're excited to add Lasell College to our network," says PrestoSports COO Patrick B. Summers. "Each institution brings its own unique mission to its athletics web site. We're pleased Lasell has chosen PrestoSports to help achieve its goals."
As part of the PrestoSports Network, scores entered into the Lasell web site through traditional or mobile entry systems will immediately update the web site's scoreboards, schedules and national media sites such as d3hoops, d3soccer, d3baseball and laxmagazine.com. PrestoSports' services and technology will allow fans, alums, and media to quickly find information about Lasell teams.
PrestoSports also hosts the athletics web sites for the GNAC at www.thegnac.com and league members Mount Ida, Norwich and Suffolk. Each site is unique and boasts features that meet the individual messaging goals for that institution.
Lasell follows the philosophy and guidelines of NCAA Division III for its 13 sports. The Lasers compete in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball and men's and women's volleyball. In addition to the GNAC, Lasell College is also a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC), Pilgrim League and North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA).
