WITH PRESTOSPORTS
Lone Star Conference member transitioning from current provider
for summer launch
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Northeastern State University, an NCAA Division II member of the Lone Star Conference located in Tahlequah, Okla., has partnered with PrestoSports for its athletics web site. Northeastern State will transition its site from its current provider to PrestoSports for a summer launch.
"We're excited for the opportunity to work with another member of the Lone Star Conference," says PrestoSports COO Patrick B. Summers. "Our team is eager to work with Northeastern State to enhance its brand through a unique web presence."
The new Northeastern State web site is part of the athletic department's new re-branding and marketing initiatives. The new site will include a unique design and a number of innovative features which put athletics administrators in complete control of the look of and content within the web site. Some of the distinctive features which will be implemented on the new home for the RiverHawks will include free live and on-demand audio streaming, live stats, video clips, feature stories and more.
"What we have done on the marketing side is not only revolutionary, but it puts us in a greater position to tell the Northeastern State story in a way that is interactive and exciting," says Jeff Konya, Northeastern State University Athletic Director. "The creative resources that PrestoSports brings to the table will assist us in ramping up our web site efforts to include more features than ever before."
The RiverHawks are the second member of the Lone Star Conference to partner with PrestoSports. Texas A&M-Commerce transitioned its web site to PrestoSports last summer and will be redesigning its web site later this year. The Lone Star Conference site is also a part of the PrestoSports Network.
Northeastern State is Oklahoma's fourth largest university. Northeastern State was recently named ‘Best Regional University' by Oklahoma Living Magazine readers.
