Big Sky Conference member to launch new site this summer
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Northern Arizona University, an NCAA Division I member of the Big Sky Conference located in Flagstaff, Ariz., has partnered with PrestoSports for its athletics web site.
"We're pleased that Northern Arizona has chosen to join the PrestoSports Network," says PrestoSports COO Patrick B. Summers. "In 2009, we've established a mission to bring our services to the Division I market. Our team is eager to reach the goals of another member of the Big Sky Conference."
NAU's new site will launch with a unique new design and a number of innovative features which put athletics administrators in complete control of the look and content within the web site. The new athletics site will incorporate video and real-time statistics and link fans to NAU social networking initiatives such as Facebook and Twitter.
"We are looking forward to our partnership with PrestoSports," said Steven Shaff, Assistant Director of Athletics for Media Relations. "We want to present the latest about our student-athletes and coaches to our alumni and friends in a fresh, user-friendly site that can be their daily source for Lumberjack athletics."
A member of the Big Sky Conference, Northern Arizona sponsors 15 men's and women's Division I sports. Lumberjacks compete in men's and women's basketball, cross country, football, golf, women's soccer, swimming & diving, track & field, men's and women's tennis and women's volleyball.
NAU marks the third member of the Big Sky to partner with PrestoSports. Northern Colorado launched its site at www.uncbears.com in 2008 and Eastern Washington launched its new site at www.goeags.com earlier this month.
