MAINE
GNAC member launches new site at
gomonks.com
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Saint Joseph's College of Maine, an NCAA Division III member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference located in Standish, Maine has partnered with PrestoSports to launch a new athletics web site. The new home for the Monks recently launched at www.gomonks.com.
"We're excited for the opportunity to work with another member of the GNAC," says PrestoSports CEO Serge Knystautas. "Athletics provides a rallying point for the campus, community, and alumni. Our team is eager to work with Saint Joseph’s College to enhance its opportunity to reach these audiences through a unique web presence."
The new site launched with a unique new design and a number of innovative features which put athletics administrators in complete control of the look of and content within the web site. Some of the distinctive features implemented on gomonks.com include a headlines ticker, a student-athlete spotlight named Monk Confessions, calendars, scoreboards, rotating stories, student-athlete bios and more.
"We are very excited about our partnership with PrestoSports,” says Saint Joseph’s Athletic Director Brian Curtin. "We are looking forward to having this new site as one of our strongest ways of promoting Saint Joseph's College, our student-athletes and our Athletics Department."
PrestoSports' services and technology will allow Saint Joseph’s College fans, alums and media to quickly find information about the school's teams. Now part of the PrestoSports Network, scores entered into the gomonks.com web site through traditional or mobile entry systems will immediately update the web site's schedules, the GNAC schedules, and national media sites such as D3hoops, D3soccer, D3baseball and laxmagazine.com.
The Monks are the sixth member of the GNAC to launch its web site with PrestoSports. The Saint Joseph’s College of Maine site joins the conference site, Lasell, Mount Ida, Norwich, Rivier and Suffolk on the network.
