AMCC member launches new web site

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Penn State Behrend, an NCAA Division III member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, has partnered with PrestoSports to launch a new athletics web site. The new home for the Behrend Lions recently launched at www.psblions.com.

"We're pleased to work with Penn State Behrend and its athletics department on this new web site," says PrestoSports Chief Executive Officer Serge Knystatuas. "It's evident that the administration is focused on showcasing athletics for the campus, community and alumni."

Behrend's new site launched with a unique new design and a number of innovative features. Some of the distinctive features implemented on psblions.com include video clips, a headlines area with five different stories cycling through, video highlights, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week, newsletter sign-up and an area to showcase the Lions of Distinction. 

"The psblions.com website will be a welcome addition for our student-athletes, fans, alumni, and the media," said Assistant Sports Information Director, Phil Pisano. We're excited about the updated look and the many new features, which brings Penn State Behrend in line with many of the top Division III college athletic websites."

PrestoSports' services and technology will allow fans and others to quickly find information about the school's teams. Now part of the PrestoSports Network, scores entered into the web site through traditional or mobile entry systems will immediately update the web site's schedules, and national media sites such as d3hoops, d3soccer, and d3baseball.

Penn State Behrend offers 21 varsity sports, 11 for women and 10 for men. All sports compete at the NCAA Division III level and most participate in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC).
