PrestoSports partners with Missouri Southern State University
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Missouri Southern State University, an NCAA Division II member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, has partnered with PrestoSports to launch a new athletics web site. The new home for the Lions recently launched at www.mssulions.com.
"We're pleased to work with Missouri Southern and its athletics department on this new web site," says PrestoSports Chief Executive Officer Serge Knystautas. "It's been exciting to extend our services to a member of the MIAA."
Missouri Southern's new site launched with a unique new design and a number of innovative features. Some of the distinctive features implemented on mssulions.com include rotating headlines, a fan poll, multimedia links, drop-down navigation, facilities pages and more.
"I have worked with other service providers in the past and by far this was the easiest transition into a top of the line website I have seen," says MSSU Sports Information Director Justin Maskus. "The staff at PrestoSports was awesome to work with and got every little detail I wanted working in the site. The ease of use will easily cut a half hour out of my work each night after games and the ability to sync up with our conference site was a huge selling point."
PrestoSports' services and technology will allow fans and others to quickly find information about the school's teams. Now part of the PrestoSports Network, scores entered into the web site through traditional or mobile entry systems will immediately update the web site's schedules and integrate into other PrestoSports sites including the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association site (www.themiaa.com).
Located in Joplin, Missouri Southern offers a number of opportunities for its student-athletes. The Lions field men's programs in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, and track & field. Women's teams compete in basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, track & field and volleyball.
