PrestoSports partners with Albertus Magnus College
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Albertus Magnus College, an NCAA Division III member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, has partnered with PrestoSports to launch a new athletics web site. The new home for the Falcons recently launched at www.albertusfalcons.com.
"We're pleased to work with Albertus Magnus and its athletics department on this new web site," says PrestoSports Chief Executive Officer Serge Knystautas. "It's evident that the administration is focused on showcasing athletics for the campus, community and alumni."
Albertus Magnus' new site launched with a unique new design and a number of innovative features. Some of the distinctive features implemented on albertusfalcons.com include a news ticker, a headlines area with different stories cycling through, a calendar, scoreboard and more.
PrestoSports' services and technology will allow fans and others to quickly find information about the school's teams. Now part of the PrestoSports Network, scores entered into the web site through traditional or mobile entry systems will immediately update the web site's schedules, the GNAC schedule and national media sites such as d3hoops, d3soccer, and d3baseball.
Albertus Magnus offers 12 varsity sports. The Falcons field men's teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Albertus Magnus women's teams compete in basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
PrestoSports also hosts the athletics web site for the GNAC and six other league members. Lasell, Mount Ida, Norwich, Rivier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) and Suffolk each have also launched sites on the network.
