PrestoSports partners with Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association
ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, an NCAA Division I men's volleyball conference, has partnered with PrestoSports to launch a new web site. The new home for the MIVA recently launched at www.mivavolleyball.com.
"We're pleased to work with the MIVA on this new web site," says PrestoSports Chief Executive Officer Serge Knystautas. "It's been exciting to bring our services to another conference and its institutions."
The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association's new site launched with a unique new design and a number of innovative features. Some of the distinctive features implemented on mivavolleyball.com include team pages, athletes of the week, standings, schedules, XML statistics, a fan poll and member directories.
"PrestoSports has been a great organization to work with on the redesign of the MIVA website. Every member of the staff that we have worked with has been extremely helpful during each step of the process," says MIVA Commissioner Chris Schneider. "The new website has created a new image of the MIVA."
PrestoSports' services and technology will allow fans and others to quickly find information about the MIVA. Now part of the PrestoSports Network, scores entered into the web site through traditional or mobile entry systems will immediately update the web site's schedules and integrate into other PrestoSports sites.
Founded in 1961, the MIVA was the nation's first men's college volleyball league. More than 40 schools have participated in the league throughout its history. Current league members are Ball State, Grand Canyon, IPFW, Lewis, Loyola-Chicago, Ohio State and Quincy.
