 We heard you and we’re listening. As we get into the heart of the fall sports season, we’re excited to tell you about upcoming plans and changes for our customer support and communications.

NEW! PrestoSports Communications Intake Form

The goal of our new intake form is to help alleviate issues with our clients not knowing who to contact, how to contact, and getting routed to the incorrect department when trying to contact us.

The problem is that we often end up with triplicate submissions for the same ticket creating a massive backlog and making it impossible to respond in a timely manner. Also, within those submissions, there’s no automated way to determine whether the case is associated with an event happening that day, but we can now with our new intake form.”

The fall season may bring up many questions. Our wonderful support team has created some items to help you get everything situated through the fall season.

Quick Tips from an Insider

PrestoWeb

Does your team run split seasons or play in multiple leagues and tournaments? Through Gameday CMS, PrestoWeb users can now add a start and end date to standings file templates that will generate rankings for specific teams within a specific period of scheduled events.

Are player uniform numbers on stats rosters becoming a problem for your team or league? Does requiring unique uniform numbers across an entire team stats rosters pose a hurdle? If so, you’ll be happy to learn that we have updated the validation constraints on shared roster updates to allow you to have multiple inactive players that share the same uniform number on a single roster!

Have you noticed delays in PrimeTime stats on your website? We have implemented a small change to how we read stats to display for your PrimeTime events that will eliminate the chance of delays.

Some core updates to PrestoWeb and CMS include: 

• A new site option to render all plays on individual league stats regardless of stats minimums

• Introduced a new flag to Gameday events that indicate an event has been forfeited

• Added data need to display pitching statistics in baseball and softball game recaps

• New theme support for thumbnail attachments in secondary navigation bar

• Changed box score XML download file name convention to include event date and event id

• Added new validation constraint to ensure websites are launched with preferred domains

• Added ability to set number of stories in Recent News on theme sites

• To improve issues related to showing image content, we have updated the location of where we pull the images and are now grabbing them directly from the source.

Have you checked out our new User Management portal? In a few short steps, assign teams to your account users,  fulfill team access requests, and manage all user permissions and stats application access in one single place.  Just added by popular demand, account administrators can assign all or groups of team RPIs and sports to an account user in a few short clicks!

 

PrestoShots

Did you know that your PrestoWeb CMS account administrators can assign permissions to give your users and teams access to integrated stats, rosters, and schedule infographics to be added to your site pages and/or social media platforms?

Coming soon, PrestoShots users will be able to search for templates, retrieve team information for NCAA schools outside of the PrestoSports network, and interact with in-app messaging and guide tutorials that simplify the template creation and deployment processes.

PrestoStats

The PrestoStats scoreboard integration with DAKtronics through PrestoSync is entering its second season this fall .  As we continue to add additional support for new sports, we are looking to work with your teams that are utilizing their scoreboard hardware to conduct live in-game compatibility testing. Coming this winter, we’ll be adding Football to PrestoStats, completely changing the scorekeeper experience from the broadcast booth. PrestoStream Studio

Is your organization currently utilizing PrestoStream and PrestoStats?   Available today for baseball and coming soon for football, volleyball, and soccer is a new live stats score bug that can be launched from an event in Gameday and added to your teams live stream!

PrestoMobile

This month we’re introducing Gamecast, an upgraded way for fans to experience your games right on their phone. Fans can follow the action on the field as it happens, updating automatically as you enter stats. Already streaming? Streaming Player is also available right inside the event, making PrestoMobile a one-stop shop for fans craving your games. You can even pair Gamecast and Streaming together to give them an unparalleled view of the game and up to the second stats.
