South Atlantic Conference Announces Streaming Partnership with PrestoSports

ROCK HILL, S.C. ( - June 7, 2021 | The South Atlantic Conference and PrestoSports have announced a partnership to deliver a conference-wide digital network. The SAC and it’s 13 member institutions will utilize PrestoSports and the StretchLive Streaming platform to stream all member events and SAC Championships on the SAC Live Digital Network.

With this focus on enhancing the overall video streaming quality and access to content, the SAC made the strategic decision to provide a best-in-class digital platform to their institutions, athletes, and fans. PrestoSports’ StretchLive solution will allow fans a one-stop-shop for all SAC Live video content, as well as access to on-demand videos.

Additionally, StretchLive will enable the SAC institutions to take control of their productions through flexible event management and utilize program best practices, workflows, processes, and templates. They can also create event templates and apply them across future events, projecting a consistent brand and visitor experience.

“We are very excited to enhance and expand our SAC Live Digital Network,” said SAC Commissioner Patrick Britz. “All of our institutions have improved the quality of their broadcasts over the past few years and we have been working toward bringing them under one platform for video streaming for some time. The SAC is pleased to be partnering with PrestoSports to make this a reality. As a longtime website client of PrestoSports, it seems only fitting that we bring our SAC Live Digital Network to PrestoSports as well.”

In conjunction with this immersive streaming solution, PrestoSports will also provide the SAC an Over-the-Top (OTT) application for their conference network for Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV. This app will extend the fan experience, allowing viewers to watch their favorite team in action anywhere on any device.

"We are honored to enter into this relationship with the SAC," stated Keith Womack, President of PrestoSports. "With the increasing demand for sports event streaming, we believe that StretchLive Streaming will greatly benefit the SAC as they launch their Live Digital Network, as well as their fans. This agreement marks a milestone for both the SAC and PrestoSports."

The SAC Live Digital Network will officially launch in the fall of 2021 with the start of fall sports. Visit the SAC website at for details and access.
