We’ve Got A New Look!

The PrestoSports team is excited to announce that we officially launched the NEW PrestoSports website! We would like to share some new features with you about our website:

PrestoSports Super Suite

Under the tab Our Solutions, you will see Super Suite. Within this tab, you will find many options related to different levels of the Super Suite. For example, Super Suite Core and Super Suite Pro. These signify different levels of packages that we now offer.

Help Center

On the upper menu tab, you will see Support. Within this tab, you can find Help Center. This page has access to articles and pages to provide support for specific products. For example, under PrestoWebsites, you are led to a collection of documents that includes instructional video guides as well as how-to articles.

Search Bar

On the upper menu tab, you can see a search bar. This search bar will allow you to search for anything within the PrestoSports website. For example, if you search for ‘baseball’, you will receive responses related to baseball; Baseball/Softball Stats Software, an article about our partnership with the Pioneer Baseball League, and many other resources.

Hear from PrestoSports streaming expert Chris Sapp, as he takes you through the best practices for streaming your sports to make your streaming productions easy to scale. Learn about the differences in cameras and audio equipment, and how you can add graphics to create a polished and professional experience. You’ll even discover actionable ideas you can implement to drive increased revenue for your program.

MYTH:
PrestoSports doesn’t offer a stats solution for tennis.

FACT:
PrestoSports offers a stat platform for Tennis, as well as others including Flag football.

The goal of our intake form is to help alleviate issues with our clients not knowing who to contact, how to contact, and getting routed to the incorrect department when trying to contact us.

John is on the Implementation team with PrestoSports. Since a young child, John had an interest in sports and went on to become the co-captain of his high school golf team. During his senior year, John began writing sports articles for his school paper and served as a manager for both the basketball and baseball teams in which he did stats on the bench, while also being tasked with calling in results from events postgame to local media outlets. In essence, this began John’s career in sports information!

John graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Mass Communications (Public Relations emphasis), He then attended The University of Scranton where last spring, he earned his Masters in Business Administration.

Prior to working at PrestoSports, John worked for 14 years in sports information at five schools, using the Presto CMS for the last seven years of his career, so he is very knowledgeable! He started off on the Web Support team last February before transitioning to the Implementation team in October.

New Feature!
PrestoWeb

In effort to account for upgrades and local site overrides within the PrestoThemes platform, we have begun working through changes to our themes platform. Ultimately the benefits are projected to be tenfold and result in an optimized content structure, simpler site upgrades, and better overall site performance. Although no changes are required by site administrators, keep a look out for the new design soon!

Some additional core updates to PrestoWeb and CMS include:

• Added autosave feature that will allow you to remain on content edit pages for an extended period of time before timing out without any activity.
• Added shared roster headshots that will ultimately supplement an optimized leader component.
• Added the ability to apply fractional point values to standings files, supporting half point overtime wins and losses.
• Removed customized event restriction allowing administrators to identify a neutral site and venue location.
• Added default sort by uniform number to player stats CSVs.
• Safeties are now included in football season XMLs.
• Added start date and end date to standings templates.
• Fixed issue where Women’s lacrosse box score coaches view was still displaying faceoffs as opposed to draw controls – CMS, Web, Stats

PrestoStats

Great News! Every PrestoStats subscription includes PrestoSync, enabling you to display statistics across the PrestoSports network and your in-venue scoreboards.

Coming this winter, we’ll be adding a new and improved version of Football to PrestoStats, completely changing the scorekeeper experience from the broadcast booth. If you have a tennis, football, or flag football program, reach out to your Client Success Manager to try out the beta platforms today!

Some additional core updates to PrestoStats include:

• Added ice hockey and water polo season XML and CSV download
• Sort player stats csv downloads by same number – CMS and Stats
• Fixed basketball stats entry issue where players on court were not correct at the start of a new period

PrestoStream Studio

This month, in addition to Football, Soccer, and Baseball, we’ve added Softball to the PrestoStats Automated Scorebug allowing you to highlight your sponsors and display live stats. Also, it couldn’t be more simple to use and enhance your production level! As long as you have access to start the game, you’ll have access to launch the scorebug. Just look for the “Launch Scorebug” button next to “Launch PrestoStats.”

PrestoMobile

Have you checked out Gamecast? It’s the best way for fans to experience your games right through your PrestoMobile app! With Gamecast, fans can follow along with the action live stats as you enter them. And even better, if you are streaming with us, they video live too. Already streaming? Streaming Player is also available right inside the event, making PrestoMobile a one stop shop for fans craving your games. You can even pair Gamecast and Streaming together to give them an unparalleled view of the game and up to the second stats.
